Tails of Hope was founded by a committed team of
individuals led by renowned veterinarian Dr. Victor
Rendano, considered by many to be the “gold standard” in
diagnostic radiology, and business, trauma and legal
specialists. Tails of Hope is bringing together top
veterinary and human scientists and practitioners, as well
as the public, to help achieve its goals.
Our people make all the difference. Tails of Hope is

Dr. Victor Rendano,
VMD, MS, DACVR, DACVR(RO). Known internationally within
the veterinary medical community, Dr. Rendano is the chair
pro tem of Tails of Hope, the founder of Advanced
Veterinary Care Specialty Center in Newburgh, New York and
a board certified veterinary radiologist and radiation
oncologist.
. Dr. Steffey is a board certified veterinary surgeon with an emphasis on oncologic surgery. She is an Assistant Professor in Small Animal Surgery at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Rachel S.
St-Vincent, DVM, MVSc, DACVR(RO). Dr. St. Vincent is a
board certified veterinary radiation oncologist and the
Chief Radiation Oncologist at Advanced Veterinary Care
Specialty Center in Newburgh, New York.
Dr. Kimberly Hammer,
VMD, DACVIM. Dr. Hammer is board certified in small
animal medicine and practices at Advanced Veterinary Care
Specialty Center in Newburgh, New York.
